“Maha Orange” a partnership co-operative company was incorporated in 10 March 2008 with inspiration and guidance from Director Of Maharashtra State Agricultural Board Pune Mahaorange with its head office at Nagpur aims at Co-ordinating activities between producer(Farmer) and processing facilities.
Orange is one of the important fruits produced in india. Orange not Possesses exotic colour vitamin A&B Sugar calcium phosphorus & iron in small quantities hence orange is known for its nutritional value taste beneficial for health world over.
In india orange is produced mainly in Maharashtra Punjab Karnataka Assam & Arunachal Pradesh. Out of total area under orange cultivation Maharashtra enjoy 23% of share spread ver an area of 1.21 lakh hectares.

Nagpur Orange is Famous for its unique taste in the world, which is sweet- sour & has juicy pulp. It gives the city of Nagpur its pseudonym Orange City. The Geographical Indication was applied for Nagpur Orange with the registrar of Geographical Indication’s in India and is effective as of April 2014. The Orange crop here grows twice a year. The Fruit available from September to December is Ambiya and Mrig crop in January.
